The kindling of Mindsfire Productions was sparked in the 2000 Presidential Primary by Mark McKittrick. While covering the Presidential Debates as an independent producer, he was inspired and fueled by the chaos that ensued. Soon thereafter Mark began working for Hearst-Argyle's ABC affiliate in New Hampshire as a videographer and editor where much of his work appeared on CNN, ESPN, The Weather Channel, Good Morning America in addition to other regional news outlets.
At this time Mark also began collaborating with local musicians and fellow producers to create videos, promotional materials and web-based content, eventually giving rise to Mindsfire Productions. Mindsfire has since produced a number of projects for individuals and organizations and continues to produce fresh and entertaining content.
Now based in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Mindsfire Productions has been involved with a number of commercial and government clients creating award winning video productions ranging from national campaigns, PSAs, documentaries, television programming and much more.
